Rusty Reed

CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

A veteran sales and sponsorship executive who spent 12 years at ESPN, Reed contributed to the expansion of ESPN Events ownership portfolio of live collegiate events, including 17 owned and operated bowl games and over a dozen college basketball events. Rusty holds the distinction of being one of the most prolific and successful negotiators of college football bowl game entitlements at ESPN. These events created more than $400 million in economic impact in the communities where they operate. A former college athlete (football at Ole Miss), Reed’s career has always been in sports marketing and client management. Reed spent 10 years at Wilson Sporting Goods in New Orleans and Atlanta markets as well as 5 years as EVP at Pro Players Inc. (New York) running the Chicago office representing professional athletes both here and abroad.

When he’s not selling (hint: he’s never not selling), Rusty is married to the former Rebecca Balentine of Florence, Alabama with four children - Jacques, Dakota, William and Eli - and lives in the greater Atlanta area.
