FishBait Solutions to Serve as Sponsorship Agency for the College Football Playoff

FishBait Solutions, LLC announced today a new, two-year agreement with the College Football Playoff (CFP) to serve as the organization’s sponsorship agency.


Known for its enduring sponsorship relationships in the collegiate sports space and elsewhere, FishBait will put its more than 20 years of sponsorship sales and activation experience to work for the CFP, seeking to identify complementary corporate sponsors. FishBait will also work closely with the CFP in developing additional events and activities around the CFP National Championship, and secure additional support for the College Football Playoff Foundation, the community engagement arm of the CFP focused on supporting PK-12 education across the country.


FishBait will work in tandem with CFP rightsholder ESPN, whose team will continue to sell official CFP sponsorships, to develop additional corporate support for the championship game and related activities.

About the College Football Playoff

The College Football Playoff matches the No. 1 ranked team vs. No. 4, and No. 2 vs. No. 3 in semifinal games that rotate annually among six bowl games – the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Allstate Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl Game. This season’s Playoff Semifinals will take place Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. The Los Angeles region will host the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 9, 2023, at SoFi Stadium.
